What is the most
important thing that God is doing on this earth today? I am sure that
different folks would have different answers for this question but, in my
opinion, unquestionably one of the supremely important things God is up to
today is the Messianic Jewish Movement.
Less than thirty years ago almost no one even knew such a movement had
begun. Just ten years ago most of the churches in North America were unaware of this providential move of God.
In 1990 I went to Israel for the primary purpose of trying to locate and
meet with some Messianic Jews. I was able to meet a few, because at that
time there were not very many.
However, today there is a Messianic Jewish Synagogue in nearly every major
city in the USA and even in some small cities. In Israel I know of over 75 Messianic congregations. Most
of these congregations are relatively small but they are growing and
increasing in number, are in love with their Jewish Messiah and are full of
life.
Our Lord taught us in the Holy Scriptures that, prior to the time of his
return, there would be a devoted church in Israel, full of the Holy Spirit (Matt. 24, Rev. 11,
etc.). Since the early Apostolic era this has not been so. Even just a few
years ago this was not so. Today it is not only the case but the believers
in Israel are some of the most devoted to Jesus Christ,
Messiah Yeshua, that I have met in my lifetime. Some of them are
persecuted strongly for their faith and many have had to suffer loss
because of their devotion to Yeshua.
My hope and prayer is that, through the Panah
Messianic Mission, we can bless what is one of the most important things
God is doing on the earth today. If you have an interest in sharing in this
ministry with us, or just want to learn more, please contact us.
Shalom,
